In 2009, Culcha Candela had their big breakthrough in Germany with "Monsta". However, the Berlin hip-hop, reggae and dancehall group has been active since 2002. They were already known regionally in 2004 with the cozy German-English track "In Da City", a homage to the city of Berlin, when this song appeared on their debut album "Union Verdadera". The group is of international origin and therefore sings in different languages. The mainly Spanish title track "Union Verdadera" is also worth listening to.
