Mike (Michael) Chapman and Nicky (Nicholas) Chinn are also listed as the song's authors. In 1979, they wrote the song “Kitty” for Racey, which was covered two years later by Toni Basil with “Mickey.” The drums at the beginning of “Mickey” are modeled after “Apt.”; however, it is neither a sample nor a melody quote.
