The march “Alt-Starhemberg”, also known as the 54 Regiment March, commemorates the heroic resistance of the defenders of Vienna under Ernst Rüdiger Count Starhemberg, owner of Infantry Regiment No. 54, during the siege by the Grand Vizier Kara Mustafa in 1683.
