Label founder James Kirchstein thought it was a good idea to name his label after the Hindu symbol for good luck and to use it as a logo. Since so many people of German descent live in Wisconsin, he thought it would win sympathy. However, the workers at the RCA pressing factory where he had his records made had a different opinion and refused to press the second single (J-1001). Kirchstein realized that it was an extremely stupid idea of his and from then on called his label 'Cuca'.
