The song has a complicated and eventful history. Emil Dimitrov wrote it in 1970 and performed it at his concerts in Bulgaria. However, because the lyrics could be interpreted as referring to a prostitute, the song was never recorded in Bulgarian. In the early 1970s, Dimitrov was in France a lot for concerts and recorded the song in French there as well, which is the recording in the video. Then in 1978 a version with changed lyrics and the title "Parizhka Istoriya (Klaudia)" was released on Balkanton. The addition "Parisian story" had to be, because there could be no such thing as a light girl in Bulgaria. In 1977 there was already a publication of "Paryska Historia (Klaudia)" in Poland. The author of the French text is not known. The 2014 album is not a reissue of an older release, Emil's son compiled it from the recordings in France that were released there as 7" singles.
