Since Agustín Lara had an exclusive contract with RCA Victor at the time, it is possible that he registered the song under his sister Maria Teresa Lara's name. However, it is also possible that they co-wrote the song. No registration from around 1935 can currently be found. The recording in the video is from 1943.
