An energetic cover hit by German alternative rock band Guano Apes, which cemented their international breakthrough. A reinterpretation of an 80s classic by Alphaville, it became a hit in its own right with nu metal elements and the distinctive voice of singer Sandra Nasic.
Songwriter Marian Gold explains what the song is about in an interview: "This song is about that drug scene in the late 70s. It's a fictional story about a pair of lovers who are trying to get away from drugs but never succeed. They imagine themselves in a kind of dreamland where they are drug-free, but they never succeed in getting there, and it's quite a tragic story."
