The song humorously describes the narrator's frustration with his partner, who always turns on the radio – especially during intimate moments – and plays unwanted hits such as Falco's new LP, Madonna, Chris De Burgh, or “Geronimo's Cadillac,” but never Die Ärzte. This leads to exaggerated, violent fantasies: the radio is kicked in, chopped up, thrown against the wall, and set on fire (“And your radio is burning”). The song parodies radio culture and relationship frustration, typical of Die Ärzte's satirical style. An anecdote in the lyrics recalls the first night being ruined by the radio.
