“Bon voyage” was the first commercial success of the Hamburg group Deichkind when they were still making hip hop. The song introduces Deichkind, who now tend to make electronic music. The chorus is sung by Nina, also known as Nina MC, who promotes female rap in her song “Doppel-X-Chromosom” (Double X Chromosome).
