The single was already released in October 1958 before the premiere of the film "Wenn die Conny mit dem Peter" (December 12, 1958) in which Cornelia Froboes and Peter Kraus interpret this song. However, since the two main actors Conny Froboes (at Electrola) and Peter Krauss (at Polydor) were under contract for different companies, the film version was not allowed to be released on record until 1988.
