“Changes” is what 2Pac aka Tupac Shakur wanted for the American ghettos. The song is about the life of African-Americans in poor neighborhoods full of drug crime and police violence. The song was only released after Tupac's death. He died at the age of 25 from gunshot wounds inflicted while he was riding in a car. The murder was never solved. Christopher Wallace (The Notorious B.I.G.), with whom Tupac was enemies and who died a short time later in a similar manner, was also considered a suspect.
