In 1990 it became known that the Milli Vanilli performers, Fabrice Morvan and Rob Pilatus, had not interpreted any of their songs themselves; the vocals were provided by various artists, including the producer Frank Farian himself. In 1991, Farian released an album entitled "The Moment Of Truth" with the artist name "The Real Milli Vanilli", which was recorded by the real artists. However, it did not contain any of the successful Milli Vanilli songs.
