In 1980, this first version of the title appeared. Following allegations of plagiarism raised in 2008, the Australian Federal Court ruled in February 2010 that "Down Under" contained substantial parts of the nursery rhyme "Kookaburra". However, even the composer Sinclair was not aware of the copyright infringement during her lifetime, although she knew the worldwide hit.
