Lama Rama Ding Dong
(1958)
English
On the first release, the label misspelled the title as "Lama Rama Ding Dong." In Ohio, the Edsels' home, they couldn't find a record company willing to produce the song, so local music publisher Jim Maderitz had to move all the way to Arkansas to get the record made on the tiny Dub label. Foster Johnson, the head of the label, reversed the first words of the title, whether intentionally or by mistake, no one can say today.
