Beautiful Ohio

Originally written as a love song in 1918, the song became the official anthem of the state of Ohio in 1969. The Ohio General Assembly decided to change part of the lyrics in 1989 to make a stronger reference to the state of Ohio. These lyric changes were written by Wilbert McBride.
